On April 22, 2026, DigitaLLeather doo participated as a panel speaker at the "EU Opportunities Week 2026 - Local Development and Green Transition" event held in Kragujevac, organized by the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Serbia, the European House, and numerous national and international partners.
Our team was invited to speak as a beneficiary of the "EU for the Green Agenda in Serbia" program, implemented by UNDP in partnership with the European Union and relevant institutions in Serbia.
A forum focused on practical support opportunities
The event gathered representatives of institutions, development organizations, companies, startups, and local governments with the goal of presenting concrete EU support programs and development initiatives available in Serbia.
Participants had the opportunity to explore funding opportunities and technical support related to innovation, green transition, energy efficiency, circular economy, local development, and sustainable business growth. The program included expert presentations, info sessions, panel discussions, and networking activities, enabling direct exchange with international organizations and successful beneficiaries of EU-backed initiatives.
What DigitaLLeather shared during the panel
As part of the "EU for the Green Agenda in Serbia" initiative, DigitaLLeather doo developed innovative AI and computer vision solutions focused on:
- improving sustainability in industrial processes
- optimizing material utilization
- reducing industrial waste
- increasing manufacturing efficiency
During the panel, we shared our implementation experience, discussed the importance of international support for innovation, and highlighted the opportunities that EU programs create for startups and technology companies in Serbia.
Why this matters for the local innovation ecosystem
We especially emphasized how programs like these contribute to:
- faster development of deep tech companies
- international market expansion
- wider adoption of sustainable and green technologies
- stronger links between local companies and European partners
For our team, it was a great honor to share our experience with other companies and attendees, while encouraging entrepreneurs and innovators to actively explore available EU and international support programs.
