– A step forward toward investment and international growth
As part of the UnlockIT conference, the first pitching session of the DSI Business Angels Network this year brought together startups and investors to explore new opportunities for investment and growth.
During the event, FMEA EXCELLENCE had the opportunity to present its solution in front of more than 50 business angels, including investors from across the region and Europe.
The event was organized by Digital Serbia Initiative, an organization actively supporting the development of the Serbian startup and investment ecosystem.
🚀 Pitching industrial innovation
Four startups were selected to pitch during the session:
- Ultrasound AIssistant
- Oblio Wallet
- PromoLens – AI for eCommerce Promotions
- FMEA EXCELLENCE
Although operating in different industries, all startups share a common ambition: building scalable products with global market potential.
During the pitch, FMEA EXCELLENCE presented its industrial SaaS platform designed for risk management and reliability improvement in the automotive industry. The platform modernizes and digitalizes the FMEA methodology, a globally recognized framework used by manufacturers to identify and manage risks in products and production processes.
🌍 International investor participation
The event gained additional international dimension through the participation of investors from Romania, North Macedonia, Hungary and Slovenia.
Their presence was enabled through collaboration with the European Business Angel Network, one of the leading European organizations connecting angel investors with startups across the continent.
Such events allow startups not only to connect with local investors, but also to engage with a broader international network actively investing in early stage technology companies.
💡 The role of the DSI Business Angels Network
The DSI Business Angels Network has been connecting experienced investors with startup founders for four years, contributing to the development of the regional innovation ecosystem.
So far, the network has invested 1.4 million euros in 14 startups, supporting the growth of new technology driven companies.
In 2026, the focus of the network is to transform conversations initiated at events like UnlockIT into concrete investment discussions and new growth opportunities.
