– 🇺🇸 American business excellence, AI and pathways to the U.S. market
An event titled “Celebrating 250 Years of American Business Excellence” was held at the Ceremonial Hall of the Rectorate of the University of Kragujevac, organized by AmCham Serbia, with the support of the U.S. Embassy in Belgrade, the University of Kragujevac, and Viridians Consulting.
The event brought together representatives of institutions, multinational companies, startups and innovation ecosystem stakeholders, focusing on contemporary standards of American business excellence and the role of artificial intelligence in modern companies from startups to large corporations.
🎤 FMEA EXCELLENCE public pitch
As part of the program, FMEA EXCELLENCE delivered a five minute public pitch, presented by Dr. Sc. Nikola Banduka, CEO & Founder, showcasing an industrial SaaS solution for risk and quality management in the automotive industry.
A key aspect of the presentation was the fact that the FMEA methodology originated in the U.S. automotive industry, developed by companies such as Ford, General Motors and Chrysler as a systematic approach to improving product and process reliability.
FMEA EXCELLENCE represents a modern, AI driven evolution of this U.S. industrial framework, adapted to today’s global manufacturing environment, digital transformation requirements and data driven decision making. For this reason, an event celebrating American business excellence was a natural setting for presenting our solution.
🧠 Panel discussions on AI in business
In addition to the pitch, Dr. Sc. Nikola Banduka, CEO & Founder, participated as a panelist in discussions focused on the application of artificial intelligence in business.
The panels featured representatives from Microsoft, Oracle, innovation centers, consulting firms and the startup community.
Key topics included:
- where AI already delivers measurable business value and where it remains hype
- the transition of AI systems from tools to active decision participants
- why startups should build their business models around AI from day one
- the role of innovation ecosystems in supporting AI as a horizontal technology
🤝 Dialogue with U.S. institutions and partners
The presence of representatives from the U.S. Embassy in Serbia, including senior advisor Erin Kotheimer, and leadership from AmCham Serbia added significant value to the event.
This format enabled direct dialogue between startups, global technology companies, institutions and international partners, with a strong focus on U.S. business standards, scalability and global markets.
For FMEA EXCELLENCE, the event represents an important step toward positioning for the U.S. market, understanding corporate and investor expectations, and building long term bridges between local innovation and the American business ecosystem.
🚀 From U.S. industrial heritage to a global SaaS platform
The event further confirmed that AI is a core driver of competitiveness today.
For FMEA EXCELLENCE, such events are strategically important because they:
- connect U.S. industrial heritage with modern AI driven solutions
- open opportunities for collaboration with global technology leaders
- increase visibility among U.S. and international stakeholders
- provide insights into U.S. market standards and practices
We continue to build FMEA EXCELLENCE as an industrial SaaS platform that combines the U.S. origins of FMEA, European engineering expertise and modern AI capabilities, with a clear focus on global scalability.
